The 7 Habits teach "21st century leadership and life skills to students and create a culture of student empowerment based on the idea that every child can be a leader."  "It is a synthesis of universal, timeless principles of personal and interpersonal effectiveness, such as responsibility, vision, integrity, teamwork, collaboration and renewal, which are secular in nature and common to all people and cultures."  Check it out, and consider how you can reinforce these principles at home!

Referrals
If you feel your child would benefit from seeing an outside counselor, a list of referrals can be obtained by contacting the Jeffries School Counselor.  Your child might also be referred to one of the School Based Counselors (SBCs) available through Springfield Public Schools.
